Please note that we have provided two different links for Campminder. If your child (or a sibling) has registered for youth camps at DCC before, please use the “Returning Camper” button. If this is the first time any of your children has attended youth camps at DCC, use the “New Camper” button. (Once you have created an account, you can then log back in with the “Returning Camper” button to access your account) All youth campers must have medical forms on file with the DCC office before they arrive at camp. The forms and instructions are available once you register in Campminder.

Senior High Camp is a safe place for teens to talk, share feelings and express past, present, and future experiences. Camp is a place to learn and share in new things in a non-threatening environment with their peers. Senior High Camp is a well-developed Christian oriented week of activities that are both fun and educational for those willing to experience the love, caring and nurturing way of life without outside influences. Have you ever caught your child mimicking their favorite animals, singing into your hairbrush, creating detailed dramas with action figures, or constantly drifting comfortably into the center of attention in any group? Is your kid practically begging for a chance to shine? Fear not: It’s likely that your child is a thespian, and Theater Camp might be just the right place for them.
Children in grades 6-10 are invited to join us at week-long DCC Theater Camp, where we will spend the week crafting a production from the ground up. The week will feature designing and building sets, creative costuming, learning lines, and getting comfortable in front of an audience. In addition to traditional camp activities (camp fires, hiking, swimming, archery and more), the kids will have opportunities to play with stage makeup, painting, improvisation and many other “behind the scenes” adventures (and maybe even some LEARNING! Shhhhhh!) Past camp performances have included kid-friendly adaptations of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and OLIVER TWIST, among others.
Your young thespian is sure to leave camp feeling inspired by the creative process while learning what it takes to put on a play. A performance will be held for the parents Saturday morning before the children leave camp.
