Camps

Located on the shores of Lake Erie in Dunkirk, New York, the camp is situated on 110 acres of lake-front property.  For your non-profit group, youth or adult camp, family reunion, class reunion, church retreat, wedding or other gathering consider utilizing our facilities.

Fun times!

Youth Camps – Dunkirk Conference Center is host to 6 camps for children and young adults.

All our camps are conducted in affiliation with the United Church of Christ but are open to all persons interested in participating in a spiritually based camping experience.

All our camps include an age appropriate learning experiencing geared toward helping the camper finding a relationship with God and their neighbors. We do not proselytize but rather try to assist each camper to find their place in the world and giving them an opportunity to share their unique talents with the other campers. Our camp motto is “Enter to Learn, Depart to Serve” and our camps stress learning, sharing, accepting and growing.

Our camps also include lots of time for fun with age appropriate activities such as talent shows, dances, game nights and campfires. Much time is given to healthy outdoor recreation utilizing our 50 acres of woods and fields, our pool, volleyball courts, playground, basketball court, four-square pad, frisbee golf course, ropes course, rock wall for climbing, and archery.

Family Camps

Family Camp invites campers of all ages to enjoy intergenerational experiences. Mornings are spent in age group classes, afternoons are spent playing ball, swimming, making crafts, or just sitting and relaxing. Evening vespers and activities such as square dancing and corn roasts round out the day. Come join us for a fun-filled week whether you are single, married, grandparents with grandchildren etc.

Adult/Weekend Camps

At DCC we realize that our lives get very hectic and busy, and for some of us thinking about taking a whole week off from life is just not an option. That is why we have developed our two specialty weekend camps. Women’s Weekend and Music Weekend both run from Friday evening until Sunday brunch.

And yet there are those that may be retired, or have the summer off, and may want to enjoy a full week of camp. Our Mind, Body and Soul camp was designed with you in mind.
